Steel Skies is a concept album created by me focusing on the idea of embracing human-made art / design in a world leaning heavily into generated imagery and music. The name Steel Skies originates from a theme in sci-fi storytelling where the rich and wealthy are literally living on a steel plate over the working class.

This project is the second half of my research project on nostalgic indie music where I researched standout artists and the process of making indie music during my first term of school. The second term had me teaching myself to produce music and branding my own fictional band.
